Since 666 is not the mark of the beast and 616 is the correct number in Revelation 13, then what is the "mark," and what does it truly mean? In answer to this, first note in Revelation 13:18 that the mark of the beast is to be calculated from the number - "Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast." But before we do this, let us proceed in this highly revealing account of Solomon and "the kingdom of Yahweh" given uniquely to him. What happened next following the 666 talents of gold?

You will recall we noted that everything was going OK in Solomon's kingdom reign up to this point. And not until after this sum of 666 talents of gold was listed did the corruption of Solomon's kingdom come. How did that corruption come? It was not because of the gold for the temple, but because of his many wives, of which we read:

We find that it was because of these 700 wives and 300 concubines that Yahweh took His kingdom from Solomon and gave it to another. Let us read His decree.

Yahweh's kingdom was not torn away from Solomon because he received 666 talents of gold. Since Solomon clearly represents the kingdom-receiving first Remnant, what can all of this mean? Likewise, when is it that the mark of the beast is placed upon kingdom men? Most Christians think some literal man will come out of Europe, set up a one-world government, and make all men come under his economic system with a bar code implanted in their skin. This makes for good science fiction and good book sales, but it is not truth. The fact is, even as Remnant-representing Solomon's heart was drawn away from Yahweh by his 700 wives and 300 concubines, so the first Remnant and the entire 2,000 years of breach Christianity have already been marked by the beast. And since 666 is not the mark of the beast, then what is that mark and who is the beast?

It is very important to note that this breach period of the church is appropriately named by the people of Antioch; and not only is it named by them, but Antioch also became the motherland of this breach work called Christianity (Acts 11:25-26). Quite significantly, while the first Remnant was "birthed" out of Jerusalem (foreshadowing a Remnant that will be birthed out of Jerusalem above), in contrast breach Christianity was "birthed" out of Antioch. Antioch became the base for Paul's ministry, and numerous early church councils centered there. And while the first Remnant was called "the way," in contrast the breach period received the Antioch name - Christianity. What is the significance of these distinct Antioch breach Christian beginnings? Antioch was founded by the family of Antiochus, and it was Antiochus IV who carried out the three year abomination of desolation spoken of in Daniel 11. It is this desolation that is prophetic of the desolation of the church by Antiochus Satan, equally for three periods of time, or 3,000 years. This abomination of desolation that Christians foresee as a future event, has been ongoing for 2,000 years in Antiochus Christianity, testified to by both the origin of Christianity's name and its founding ministry location - Antioch.

Now let us take an account of some numbers that have been floating around here. Have you noticed the numbers three and seven appearing throughout these accounts? There were 7 chosen to take over the responsibilities of the apostles in caring for the needs of others. Likewise, there were 700 wives who led Solomon away from Yahweh. Then there were three years in which the abomination of desolation occurred under Antiochus, and there were 300 concubines who were a part in leading Solomon away from Yahweh.

In our study here on Solomon's reign, we will find once again that the number 7 is indeed the mark of the beast; and most significantly, will see its very dramatic and decisive affects on the kingdom of Yahweh given to Solomon. But before we do, let us consider a little information regarding this 7 that is not in the other material.

There is no question that Mystery Babylon, who sits on a scarlet beast having 7 heads, is Christianity. Babylon means "confusion," and with its 22,000 denominations and 2,000 years of change and fluctuation, Mystery Babylon Christianity exhibits GREAT confusion! And directly associated with this is Yahweh's judgment upon the great head of Babylon, King Nebuchadnezzar. Because of his pride, which foreshadows the pride of Christianity, Yahweh judged him with these words:

Here we see the plight and judgment of Christianity - they have received the mark of the beast, even as Nebuchadnezzar received in his own mind. Christian's minds have been given over to the beast, Satan. For how long will this occur? For 2,000 years in duration; however, prophetically this period is identified once again with the number 7. Christians have the 7, the mark of the beast, on their foreheads because their minds have been given over to the beast, Satan, and all his lies and deceit.

This is the Nebuchadnezzar who possesses at the center of his name the precise testimony of Satan's destruction. We saw in the writing The Signs That Cause Belief that the second-blow death to Satan is identified with Lake Chad in Africa. This marks the second blow to Satan's temple, effected by the woman, Jael (Judges 4:21). We equally saw Yahweh's remarkable testimony to this in the Presidential elections of 2000 between the Bush and the Gore, centering around the battle for the chad. Now once again, through the name of the one who foretold the affliction of the kingdom, the one who had the mind of a beast for 7 periods of time, we see in his name the very need for Satan's second blow death for his afflicting man in the kingdom - Nebu-CHAD-nezzar! More on this king's testimony later.

The 616 of Revelation 13 provides the very numbers from which we can calculate the number of the mark, as that passage instructs. Adding together the first two digits either from left to right or from right to left arrives at the number 7. Six plus one is precisely the problem we just noted with the ark of the covenant in Dagon's temple. It is the holiness of Yahweh, or "One," given to earthly man, or "six." Yahweh's heavenly kingdom (1) plus man (6) always equals 7, the mark of the beast. And equally telling, the Greek word for "mark," per the "mark of the beast," is used precisely 7 times in Revelation! These seven "marks" used in Revelation identify and confirm the number 7 mark of the beast.

It is adequately demonstrated that the mark of the beast occurred very early in the kingdom. In fact we see here that the mark was present in the first Remnant. The 7 men selected in lieu of the apostles, and Solomon's 700 wives, are both telling accounts that the mark of 7 was even on the first Remnant.

It was this "mark" of 700 wives, or 7 elevated to the nations level, that caused Solomon to lose the kingdom of Yahweh. 700 was the mark of the beast on the kingdom of Yahweh given to Solomon, not the 666. And it was the 7 men chosen by the first Remnant to perform that service which the apostles rejected, that caused them to lose the kingdom of heaven to Christianity.

What about Solomon's 300 concubines? Very briefly, 300 is once again the nation's level number of 3, which is the number of the periods of time given to the church - the kingdom level 3,000 years. We cannot go into this now, but if the church received 3,000 years of uninterrupted ministry, it would be equivalent to Yahshua's three hours of darkness on the cross when in the end He declared, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?," or it would be Peter's denial of Yahshua three times before the cock crowed.

What will make the difference for the first Remnant versus all of Christianity? The first Remnant are sealed, their bodies are claimed for the first resurrection, they were under the covering of holding all things in common, under the anointing of the former rain, and they are set apart under the altar, despite the 7. This has to be true for the first Remnant, for they had to be sown into Christianity for their sake. (See Seedtime and Harvest.) If the first Remnant does not rise, then neither will Christianity. The first Remnant must resurrect for Christianity's sake.

However, Christians will not be a part of the first resurrection. They will have to follow the pattern for the kingdom at large, which will be addressed later in this writing. But we need to recognize that the mark of the beast 7 has been on the church from its beginning. Even as Eve, the bride, ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and then handed it to Adam to eat, so the Leah first Remnant bride of Yahshua ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and handed that kingdom to the body of the last Adam, the body of Christ. So the kingdom received its mark, and the abomination of desolation began at its very beginning.

Thus we see with Solomon's reign, that the first Remnant was not an entirely pure beginning. The kingdom they received with the restored grape tree of the knowledge of good and evil, was once again partaken of and they were cursed. As written by Solomon in Song of Solomon 1:6 concerning the Remnant bride - "They made me caretaker of the vineyards, but I have not taken care of my own vineyard." Neither could the first Remnant take care of the restored vineyard kingdom. Since the kingdom was still earthly based, it too was "marked" early by man and Satan, thus the reason that they could not bring forth the return of Yahshua. As a result, the pure kingdom beginning ceased to make progress. This is seen also in Song of Solomon 8:8-9 where it is written:

Who is the little sister who, very significantly, "has no breasts," who could not be the "wall," who was not allowed to be the "door" "on the day when she was spoken for"? She is the first Remnant who could not bring forth the milk of the kingdom because her "breasts" never matured. Her growth was cut short because of her corruption of the kingdom by the flesh and Satan. Would she then be the wall on which her watchmen would behold Yahshua's return, or the door that would provide the way for His return? No, she would not. Thus, placed upon her wall was the hope of another work that would come later and would herald His return; and the door that could not provide the way for His return was barricaded with cedar (the material used to build the temple). The mark of the beast was established, the breach began, the first Remnant died, and nearly 2,000 years of the abomination of desolation passed. Now the second Remnant will indeed be the watchman on the wall; they will be the eastern gate of the Ezekiel temple that will bring Yahshua's return (Ezekiel 46), and whose breasts will be "like towers" - "I was a wall, and my breasts were like towers; then I became in his eyes as one who finds peace" (vs. 10). It is the second Remnant that will mature to complete the work begun by the first Remnant, providing the milk of the promised-land kingdom and long sought peace, providing the towers that ascend into heaven, allowing that Remnant to enter in.

Up to this point we have examined the reality of the first Remnant. They received the restored kingdom of God and will be in the first resurrection. They (along with the second Remnant) will be the first fruits of Yahweh among mortal men, the bride of Yahshua. But, because the first Remnant was in earthly flesh, because Antiochus Satan was able to enter the kingdom, marking it with his corruption and abominable lies and deception, and (as we will see in a study of Genesis 6) because the timing was "premature" for the fruits of the kingdom, the first Remnant failed to bring forth Yahshua and His perfect kingdom. These initial kingdom-receiving members lost the kingdom to Christianity, and they went to the sea/the grave. Death is not supposed to happen in the kingdom; but man proved inadequate to handle the kingdom, thus he has died. As with Adam and Eve, once again the kingdom recipients were forbidden to eat from the tree of life, and died.
